Build a Custom Space for the Job You Keep Coming Back To

Verified 2026-11-06

You can describe an idea in Muse and have it build a Space for it: a saved tracker, planner, or project board that lives in the app, stays where you put it, and updates itself in the background when you connect the apps it needs.

What it does

A Space is a custom experience inside Muse, shaped around one job, routine, or interest. You describe what you need and Muse builds the first version. From there you keep shaping it in plain words, adding what is missing, trying a different look, or changing how it works. The starting examples include a holiday gift tracker, a daily word game, and a planning board for a home project. The same idea fits a shopping hub that pulls gift ideas, wish lists from saved posts, and Marketplace listings into one view, a school dashboard, a music tracker, a wedding planner, an order tracker for a small business, a client hub, and a trip planner. You can check things off, add notes, and make edits right in the Space.

How to use it

  1. Open Muse and start a chat about the one job you keep coming back to.
  2. Describe the Space you want in plain words, naming what it should track, show, or help you plan.
  3. Look over the first version Muse builds. Say what is missing and what should work differently.
  4. Put the Space where it helps most: sidebar, main tabs, hidden for now, or on a schedule, such as a weekly planner on workdays and weekend plans on Saturday.
  5. Connect only the apps that Space needs, then check that new dates, prices, or progress show up on their own.

What you need

  • A Muse account, in a place where Muse is available
  • One clear job, routine, or interest to build the Space around
  • The apps you want that Space to draw from, connected only if you choose to connect them

What to watch for

  • The first version is a starting point. Plan on a few rounds of changes before it fits the way you work.
  • A Space only updates from apps you connect. If a price, date, or total looks stale, check whether that app is still connected.
  • It is normal if a page that builds and updates itself sounds strange at first. You stay in charge: you choose where it lives, when it appears, and what it connects to.
  • Sharing a Space with other people is still being explored, so treat a Space as your own for now.
