Ask About Your Website Traffic Through Google Analytics 4

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can read your Google Analytics 4 numbers from a chat and answer plain questions about your traffic, with no dashboard digging.

What it does

The connector adds 8 read-only tools. It lists the Analytics accounts and properties you can reach, reads one property in full (name, time zone, currency, and industry), and lists any Google Ads accounts linked to it. It lists the custom dimensions and metrics set up on a property, then runs three kinds of report: a core report over the dates you ask for, a realtime report covering the last 30 minutes, and a funnel report showing how many people reach each step of a path, such as viewing a product, adding it to a cart, and checking out. Nothing can change a property, a setting, or any data.

How to use it

1. Start an AnythingMCP account and add the Google Analytics 4 connector.
2. In Google Cloud Console, pick or create a project and turn on the Google Analytics Admin API and the Google Analytics Data API.
3. Create an OAuth sign-in for that project, following the connector instructions, and finish the one-time sign-in so the connector holds a refresh token for your Google account.
4. Paste the client ID, client secret, and refresh token into the connector fields, not into a chat.
5. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
6. Start with a simple ask, such as which properties the connector can see, then ask for last week's sessions by page.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Google Analytics 4 connector added
• A Google account with access to the Analytics property, plus a Google Cloud project for the sign-in

What to watch for

• The connector only reads the properties the Google account you signed in with can reach. Sign in with the wrong account and the list will look empty.
• Realtime means the last 30 minutes only. Use a core report for anything older.
• A funnel report is only as good as the steps tracked on the site. If a step was never measured, the funnel cannot invent it.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. The muse prepares, you decide.
