Analyze Your Meta Ads and Change Budgets Through Your Muse

Through an AnythingMCP custom connector, your muse can read a Facebook and Instagram ad account in plain words: what you spent, what it brought in, and which ads are not running. After your yes, it can pause an ad or change a budget.

What it does

Connected this way, the muse gets 18 tools for Meta Ads. It can list ad accounts your token can reach, and read campaigns, ad sets, and ads with status, budgets, targeting, and schedule. It can read creatives, list audiences, and show why an ad is not delivering. It reports spend, reach, clicks, and conversions for the whole account or one campaign, ad set, or ad, for a preset period such as the last 7 days or dates up to 37 months back, split by day, age, gender, country, or placement. It can read change history, showing who changed what and when. Two tools change live work, and both wait for your yes: pausing or starting a campaign, ad set, or ad, and changing a budget. The connector creates nothing.

How to use it

1. Create a Meta app with the ads use case, connected to your business portfolio. For a lasting token, add a system user in Business Settings and generate a token with ads read access, plus management access for changes.
2. Start an AnythingMCP account, add the Meta Ads connector, and enter the token and ad account ID, which starts with act_, only where the connector asks, never in a chat.
3. In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the MCP server address AnythingMCP gives you. Sign in and approve.
4. Check first: ask for last month's total spend, and compare it with Ads Manager.
5. Ask a plain question, such as which ads are not delivering and why, before you approve any change.

What you need

• A Muse account that can add custom connectors
• An AnythingMCP account with the Meta Ads connector installed
• A Meta ad account in a business portfolio, with a token and the ad account ID

What to watch for

• Starting an ad starts spending at once, and pausing one stops it at once. Read the name and numbers before you say yes.
• Budgets are entered in the smallest unit of the account currency, so 2000 means 20.00 in most currencies.
• A short test token lasts only an hour or two unless you extend it.
• This is a custom connector, and Meta does not review custom connectors. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time.
